Action Mesothelioma Day is 2 July 2021

As with every year, we remember the lives lost to this dreadful disease. But we also look forward with hope to the research that has helped us develop better diagnostics and treatments, and provide a better quality of life for people living with mesothelioma.

The British Lung Foundation is proud to have funded £10.8 million of research for mesothelioma ranging from laboratory studies to translational projects and to clinical trials. We’ve invested to understand more about the disease, helped develop better disease models for research, found new therapies and trialled ways to improve care. We are proud of what we have achieved working closely with our partners including other funders and the research community. Thanks to the supporters of our research programmes, including the Victor Dahdaleh Foundation, Catalina and GA solicitors.

You can get involved on the day by attending the AMD21 national event 02 July 12.30-1.30 pm

Other events run nationally are listed here.
